Full Description:

I would hope this will appear in the monthly newsletter. To Whom It May Concern: My name is William Mason and I reside at 4204 Aldama Drive. Sometime between 10:00PM and 6:00AM on July 21st/22nd, my cars and my neighbors cars were broken into.I lost a few CD's (as my neighbor did), small high powered binoculars in case (expensive/binoculars could fit into palm of hand size), and a set of house keys with a silver cross, silver shell charm, and small sterling silver pen knife from Swiss Army attached. I notified the police and report was filed. I found broken CD cases from theft with one cd in case in the middle of the block on Carnelian Street. I am sure these are from my car because of the album found. On the same evening across the street, my neighbors house was tiolet papered. I am not one to believe in coincidences and I am fairly confident the individual/s are one and the same. The police took the cd cases to be fingerprinted. I was told the fingerprints are probably not on file but this will create a record for reference. I believe a young teenager/s (most likely 13 or 14)burglarized my cars because they left an expensive cordless drill in the case yet took smaller items. I want all my goods back specifically the knife, charm, and silver cross. These are very dear to me as they were gifts from someone that cannot give anymore.I am very disappointed. I never felt the need to lock up every evening but things change. I request parents to please speak to your children. If you are missing a large amount of tiolet paper or your child somehow found these articles, I would like them returned. I will not prosecute if this happens but if caught by police I will prosecute to the fullest of my capability. Imagine this: Child has my house keys and decides to try for bigger and better objects. Enters premises late and awakes me. I see figure in the dark holding object and I am not sure what it is. I feel threatened as individual approaches and I fire my pistol. I turn on the lights and realize I have shot a child. I do not think I could live with myself. This is an imaginary situation but not one to farfetched. However, I have gone to the expense of changing my locks because I couldn't live with myself. I am a middle school history teacher. At this time in the summer, mischief occurs. Please talk to your child. Thank you, respectfully, William Mason
